The Heart of the Autumn Collection
A season of patience, beauty, and sharing at Le Petit Jardin.
Every season at Le Petit Jardin begins with something small: a blossom, a seed, a first taste of fruit, or an idea taking shape in the garden. Our Autumn Collection grew from these quiet beginnings ~ and from the memories and moments that make each offering meaningful.
This year, one of our sweetest stories comes from our pear tree. It took four years for the tree to give us a lovely harvest. We waited, tended, and hoped ~ and when the pears finally came, they were worth every season of patience. They are the heart of our Gâteau aux Poires, made all the more special with our signature vanilla extract, slowly aged until its fragrance is deep and rounded. Each slice holds a little of the garden’s generosity and the joy of a long-awaited harvest.
Our ‘cruffins’ are an ode to our beloved Camelot roses. Their delicate, curling form reminds us of rose petals slowly opening, and of the beauty that can be found in the smallest details.
In the pantry, all of our berry preserves carry the magic of summer into the cooler months. And our Summer Harvest Marinara Sauce is slowly simmered with our Roma tomatoes, sweet onions, and fragrant pesto basil ~ a simple gathering of organic ingredients, made with care and time. Our Basil Olive Oil preserves the bright, fragrant character of the lemon basil from our garden, ready to bring a little sunshine to the table.
The garden’s blossoms inspire our apothecary, too. Fleur d’Oranger Hydrolat, distilled from our orange blossoms, is a delicate botanical mist for a refreshing moment in your daily ritual. Our new Lavande en Fleur hand soap brings the gentle fragrance of lavender to an everyday pause. And Amara Elixir is created from the essential oils gathered during the making of our hydrolats. Its fragrance shifts with each season, making every small batch distinct ~ and exquisite in its own way.
There are pieces of summer tucked into this collection as well: watercolor-painted note cards inspired by our summer blooms, and a dried-flower bouquet gathered into an autumn palette. Each offers a way to carry the garden’s colors and simple beauty into the home.
At the heart of Le Petit Jardin is Seeds of Hope. This season, we’re delighted to support the garden at the Boys & Girls Club of the Lowcountry with financial contributions, seeds, and our time. We look forward to helping refresh and care fo this special space alongside the children, as they plant, learn and watch their garden grow. We are so grateful to share in creating a welcoming place for discovery, connection, and growth.
Preorders open Friday, October 2nd. As a small thank-you, those who place an order on October 2 will receive a special gift. We look forward to welcoming you to the garden for pickup on Saturday, November 7, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
